B2B BUSINESS INTERVIEWS WERE HELD AND 20 COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WERE SIGNED AT THE EVENT.
The fifth of the Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aerospace (ICDDA) 2022, which was previously held in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018; As always, this year, with the support of the
Presidency of Defense Industries and the Ministry of Commerce, organized by the OSTİM Defense and Aviation Cluster (OSSA), it was held at the ATO Congresium in Ankara between 12-14 October 2022.
ICDDA includes main industry and SME companies operating in the fields of military and civil, defense, aviation and space; brought together to find new markets, seize business opportunities and establish business partnerships. In ICDDA 2022, a highly effective and respected organization, B2B meetings, conferences and seminars were held in order to reveal the target countries with unique needs and opportunities, and to turn potential cooperation opportunities in the defense and aerospace sectors into concrete steps.
In ICDDA 2022, planned B2B meetings were held between manufacturers and service provider SMEs, 1st and 2nd level suppliers and procurement and supply chain officials of relevant institutions (OEMs)
participating in the event from both Turkey and many countries of the world. Thanks to this, they had the opportunity to present their specialized capabilities in the civil and military fields.
Thanks to ICDDA 2022, Turkish SMEs and main industry companies came together with the supply chain officials of the world's most prestigious defense and aerospace companies.

A total of 7,500 B2B business meetings were held at the event. 20 cooperation agreements were signed between the companies and institutions of the participating countries from Europe, Africa and Asia and Turkish companies.
On the first day of ICDDA 2022, conferences were held on "The Future of Global Aerospace Supply Chains" and "Defense Industry Value Chain from a Quality Perspective". In these conferences;
The leading companies of our country and the world, such as TURKISH AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES, TEI, BOEING, THALES, ROMAERO S.A., ASELSAN, MKE, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, FNSS and THYSSENKRUPP MARINE SYSTEMS,
provided information about the present and future of the supply chain to the participants. More than 1,500 people attended the conferences, including military, defense and commercial attachés of many countries in Turkey,
public officials, end users, and representatives of domestic and foreign companies.
On the 2nd and 3rd days of the event, seminars were held on “How to do business with BOEING?”, “Cooperation opportunities with ROMARM – the National Defense Company in Romania” and
“Defense industry procurement process in Pakistan” and information was presented to the participants.
As a result of successful and effective B2B meetings with the participation of supply chain and purchasing officials from abroad, ICDDA was previously deemed worthy of the
"Defense Industry Special Award" in 2014 and the "Defense Industry Promotion" special award in 2017 by the Presidency of Defense Industries.
In ICDDA 2022; It enabled Turkish defense and aerospace industry companies to establish export connections and expand their networks.
The event, which provided information about the latest developments and technologies in the sector, as well as products and innovations, contributed to the companies'
initiation of partnerships with productive business meetings and their integration into international markets.
